Buhl Regional Health Foundation Awards $553,817 in Grants
Nine community non-profit agencies were awarded grants totaling $553,817 from the Buhl Regional Health Foundation this fall.
The agencies will use the grants for health-related programs in the Foundation’s service area. Agencies, their programs, and grant awards are:
—Adventures in Training with a Purpose, Specialized Training for Vulnerable Populations: $50,000
— Building Blocks Child Center, Gross Motor Expansion: $22,500
—Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County, Nurse-Family Partnership Program: $66,225
—City Rescue Mission, Telemedicine Rooms: $10,000
—Inspiring Minds, Grocery Store Project: $5,000
—SV Catholic School System, KCHS Future Nurses of America Club: $2,500
—UPMC Horizon, Victoria Advanced Birthing Simulator for UPMC Horizon: $97,592
—Valley Shenango Economic Development Corporation, Urban Agriculture Entrepreneurial Innovation Center (UAEIC): $250,000
—West Hill Ministries, Oakland Avenue Location: $50,000
