Previous participation in capacity-building events that Buhl Regional Health Foundation (BRHF) has held and their continued interest in working together for community health and wellbeing has identified approximately 75 Action Team participants as assets in leadership for the Sharon regional area. We look forward to hosting them to encourage dialogue about advancing collaborative impacts on specific community issues.
The main objective of the 2018 Action Team meetings will be for the partners within in each team to develop a collaborative community health project or program. In support of that initiative, the identified collaborators may then choose to prepare a Letter of Inquiry for a grant request within BRHF’s grant application process, in alignment with BRHF’s grant cycle. If eligibility requirements are met, an invitation from BRHF to submit a full grant proposal may be offered. The major deadlines for the next grant cycle will be 7/12/18 for the LOI and 8/23/18 for the full grant proposal.
Each team has been assigned a leader to coordinate with BRHF and help all members move through the necessary planning and action steps of this important endeavor.
