Buhl Regional Health Foundation Awards $130,000 in Grants
April 8, 2021 – Nine community non-profit agencies were awarded grants totaling $130,000 from the Buhl Regional Health Foundation this spring.
The agencies will use the grants for health-related programs in the Foundation’s service area. Agencies, their programs, and grant awards are:
—Adventures in Training with a Purpose, Functional Mobility Wellness Program for At-Risk Populations: $10,000
—Children’s Center of Mercer County, Gross Motor Space – Phase II: $5,000
—CLSV Stey-Nevant Branch Library, Health Literacy for the Future: $15,000
—Community Action Partnership of MC, Lots to Love: $5,000
—Friends of MERP, Medical Equipment Access Security Initiative: $20,000
—Hope Center for Arts & Technology, Inc., Phlebotomy Diploma Training Program: $10,000
—Maple Tree Cancer Alliance, Exercise Oncology Program Partnership with Buhl Community Recreation Center: $10,000
—Penn State Shenango, Vaccine Webinar Series: $10,000
—PHN Charitable Foundation, Connecting Mercer County – Third Phase: $45,000
