A healthy smile is a healthy you. Because oral health is so important to overall health, Buhl Regional Health Foundation is working to provide dental care for individuals in our community who do not have access to regular dental care.
The Buhl Regional Health Foundation, in partnership with RAM – Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps, will be hosting a FREE DENTAL CLINIC for those without access to regular dental treatment on June 10-11, 2023 at Sharon High School in Sharon, Pennsylvania.

- No identification required.
- No insurance required.
- No prescheduled appointments, walk-ins only.
- Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!
The Dental Clinic is fully staffed by volunteers, including professionals and general support staff. A full list of volunteer opportunities can be found on this page.
This is your chance to impact our community! In just one day, you can use your skills to help people who don’t have access to regular dental care. Partner with us and let’s make a difference together!
Meals will be provided to all volunteers and out-of-town help who require lodging will be provided with accommodations, courtesy of BRHF.
VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION DEADLINES:
- Dental Providers – May 26th
- General Support – June 1st.
*Please note that RAM’s registration form is a universal form used for volunteer registration at clinics all over the world. Volunteers may find the tips below helpful in navigating the registration process.
REGISTRATION TIPS:
Blood Borne Pathogen (BBP) Training is required for volunteers on the dental floor ONLY. Most medical and dental professionals will already be certified. General volunteers and professionals without BBP Certification who are interested in working on the dental floor will need training. (please contact BRHF for free training options.)
Profession/Volunteer Classification:
- Medical and Dental Professionals – Select the event area and profession that best matches your credentials.
- General Volunteers – Select “General Support” for both event area and profession.
Events/Assignments:
- State – Select “USA/Pennsylvania”
- Event – Select “Sharon, PA 2023: Sharon, Pennsylvania”
- Date/Time – Select the date(s) you are volunteering for and the assignment that best describes your participation. (Most general volunteers should choose “GENERAL SUPPORT” and an assignment will be given to you the day of the clinic.)
Time Frame Alternatives:
We understand that volunteers may not be able to commit to the time frames listed for selection. To volunteer for a shorter time frame, please select the date(s) you are available, submit your registration form, and then email us (kateri@buhlrhf.org) to detail your time restraints. We appreciate ANY amount of time you can offer and will update your commitment on our end!
