December 11, 2020

Buhl Regional Health Foundation Releases Kick-Off Date, December 14th 2020 for the Spring 2021 Grant Cycle.

Buhl Regional Health Foundation (BRHF) announces the Spring 2021 Grant Cycle beginning on December 14, 2020.  Applicants that meet eligibility requirements can submit a Letter of Inquiry by January 8, 2021 via Buhl Regional Health Foundation’s online grant portal here. Details about how to apply, an instructional video, and the link to log-in to the Grant Portal are available on the BRHF website.

The focus of the grant cycle’s funding is “Access to Healthcare” and “Addressing Mental and Physical Health Needs.”  All grant applications must focus on positively impacting one or both of these needs within the community.  We encourage collaborative partnerships and programs that invest in all people.  For this sixth grant cycle, grants will be awarded in March 2021.

The mission of the BRHF is to identify and address the diverse health care needs of the greater Sharon regional area.  All interested agencies and public charities with the appropriate 501(c)(3) IRS designation that share in this mission within the service area are invited to apply. The primary service area includes Clark, Farrell, Greenville, Mercer, Hermitage, Sharon, Sharpsville, Transfer, West Middlesex, and Wheatland in Pennsylvania and Brookfield, Hubbard, and Masury in Ohio.  The secondary service area consists of parts of Eastern Ohio, Northern/Eastern Mercer County, and Northern Lawrence County.

Applications are restricted to those submitted to BRHF through the use of the Buhl Regional Health Foundation Online Grant Portal.  No other application methods or formats will be accepted.
